nowHERE is an atmospheric excursion through an otherworldly area, unsure of how you ended up here, all you can do is wander, and experience the passing moments, in the now, and here.

nowHERE is the debut album from neoHFX, a project based on long form songs, influenced by and made entirely of processed field recordings from aspects of the downtown core of Halifax, NS.

nowHERE is inspired by the start of a new journey in life, both in coming to this city, and music production. The textural properties of the music itself were invigorated by the mix of brutalist buildings, ocean, and the concrete shells of condos to come. As glass façades begin to hide their beauty, it is time to set this album out.
